Day 1 : Marrakech.
Arrive at Marrakech Airport. Check in a hotel.
Day 2 : Marrakech → Ozoud waterfalls → Bin Louidane Lake → Beni Mellal.
Breakfast, and get ready for a 8h30 departure as we head up to Demnate, a bustling walled town with spectacular views. After driving through the bright green valleys full of outstanding views, we arrive at the Ozoud Waterfalls, The most important and beautiful waterfall in Morocco. Enjoy a local tour of the falls before setting in front of them for some mint tea and Lunch. Later on we will make our way by a mountain road to Lake Bin El Ouidane, you will see the gorgeous views across the lake and surrounding mountains, it’s a glorious place where the mountains and the forest meet together around the lake which stretches over a large area and seems akin to a gulf. We will follow the road among the remarkable region known for the beauty of its landscapes dominated by Berber villages and farms. You will soon arrive into Beni Mellal for dinner and a good nights rest.
Day 3 :Beni Mellal → Ain Aserdoune Spring → Azrou → Meknes.
After breakfast in our hotel, we will visit the Spring of Ain Aserdoune and its beautiful Kasbah. The ruler constructed the well-known Kasba Ras el Ain from stones in 1688, it was believed to have been built in order to protect this spring and to protect the surrounding area. The Kasbah overlooks the whole city giving such a stunning panoramic view of the town and the green plains around. Later we will embark towards the Middle Atlas Mountains where we will be surrounded by beautiful villages and great views, and make our way to Meknes, lunch on the spot, Meknes city is created in the 17th century heritage_ Where you will hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy the sightseeing of Moulay Ismail’s shrine... After the visit, we will drive directly to our Riad in Medina for dinner and a good night rest.
Day 4 : Meknes → Volubilis → Fes.
After breakfast in the Riad, Our authentic journey will start towards Volubilis "the Roman site", Here we will get in touch with a great history of the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Morocco history , free moments walking around the Roman street's trails before heading up towards Fes, walk along the alleys and small streets. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarters, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. You will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. Lunch time and take rest, Later you will experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes and go back to our Hotel/Riad.
Day 5 : Fez → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Errachidea → Erfoud → Merzouga.
Breakfast in our Riad/hotel, then drive to Merzouga via Ifran and Midlet. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas mountains. Stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco – where you may sight the Barbarian apes, Continuous through the Tizi N’talghamt Pass to Midelt where you will stop at lunch tim, carry on the road via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, stopping for panoramic views along the way, Then its straight to the impressive dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, take breath and have a cup of mint tea before you check in to you Auberge.
Day 6 : Erg Chebbi.
Enjoy a rich breakfast before we start our adventure trip, we will visit the Berber villages along the surroundings and get a closer contact with the berber culture, hit the tracks to oasis Tissardemine, mines MIFISS and the desert plateau, we will drive among the dunes while passing through the village of Khamliya, Visit the Musicians of Khemlia in Merzouga, a century-old Gnaoua group that performs ancient trance music. Tea and nuts will be served, take breath and have a cup of tea before embarking on our camel ride for an hour through the stunning dunes, the clean air and the beautiful sunset will take you’re your breath and provide us an unforgettable moments, diner and overnight in a comfortable bivouac.
Day 7 : Merzouga → Todra gorges → Roses Valley → Skoura oisis → Ouarzazate.
Next morning, the camel man will wake you up early in the morning to enjoy what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your hotel appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and shower, Departure for Errisani, an ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans and the most important market town for Sub-Sahara camel caravans, Visit to the big Souk (market), Later departure for Todra gorges, Lunch in a local restaurant, Have some time to enjoy Todra gorges and walk among the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Later on drive towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate through the way of the thousand Kasbahs, there will be chances to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. You will enjoy the fertile Rose valley and the rock formations along the way. We’ll stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over, carry on to Skoura and the birds valley before arriving Ouarzazate, diner and overnight in a Kasbah or a hotel.
Day 8 : Ouarzazate → Aitbenhaddou → Marrakech.
After your breakfast in your hotel, you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, and continuous to Ait ben haddou, Lunch in a local restaurant, after you will di the sighseeing of the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The largest Kasbah in Morocco was built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Amazigh (Berber) chieftains, at the end of the 19th century to be one of his stops during his long trading routes to Timboctou in Mali. Now the Kasbah houses many of the Glaoui family members. After a short visit to the Kasbah, your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka in the high Atlas Mountain and get Marrakech in the evening.
